CrashCrafts is operated by Crash Media. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This policy covers crashcrafts.com, the CrashCrafts panel (game.crashcrafts.com) and our community servers.
What we collect
- Account details: username and email address for your panel account.
- Billing details: handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, billing country and subscription status, but never your full card number.
- Server data: files, logs and settings you store on your server.
- Technical data: IP addresses and logs from the panel, website and game servers, used for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
- Community data: in-game names and chat on our community servers, and messages you send in our Matrix chat, which is hosted on our own server (rooms you share with other Matrix servers are also stored by them).
This website doesn't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
How we use it
- To create, run and bill for your servers.
- To provide support and send service notices (for example payment, suspension or maintenance emails).
- To protect our network and enforce our rules.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
We don't sell personal information.
Service providers
We use Stripe for payments and may use email and infrastructure providers to operate the service. They receive only what they need. Some may process data outside Canada.
Retention
We keep account and billing records while your account is active and as long as required for tax purposes afterwards. Deleted servers' files are not kept once removed.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements. Email Ryan@crashcrafts.com. We'll respond within 30 days. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
